Montreal City Accommodation – Alt Hotel Downtown
On our recent cross Canada travel adventure, one of our stops along the way was in Montreal. Below is a review of our outstanding 3 night total stay at the The Alt Hotel Montreal Quebec. What I really liked about our stays with Group Germain Hotels on our travels across Canada, is this is a unique and very successful Canadian owned family-run business.
The family owns and operates Le Germain Hotels, Alt and Alt+ Hotels across Canada. In fact, they are now ranked as one of Canadas 50 Best Run Companies. Celebrating over 30 years in business, they are continually expanding their network of properties across the Nation.
We pride ourselves on offering the best experience at an affordable rate with ultra comfortable rooms, modern design, friendly service and eco-friendly choices.

Staying At The Alt Hotel In Montreal – Quebec

We were checked quickly at the reception desk and booked into our One Bedroom Upper Floor Corner Unit. You immediately noticed upon arriving, the relaxed and comfortable feel the lobby had.

Even though the room is smaller than most, it is very well appointed with all the modern conveniences and more. The rooms are very stylish with a modern unique flair, complete with extra large floor to ceiling windows, and bath that has that spa looking feel.

The view in all directions from our upper floor corner guest room was outstanding!

The king bed and bedding was attractive looking and very comfortable. In room wifi was excellent along with a desk and chair with plugins, making this hotel perfect for pleasure and business travelers.

Whats really unique with this hotel brand, is that they offer guests a flexible late check out time when requested in advance. Something you definitely do not see or that weve come across in all our years of travel.
