Andy Hoi An Tours – Half Day City Tour
My daughter and her boyfriend had the pleasure of joining Andy on this scenic 4 hour city tour.
This tour is perfect for those looking for a half day outing in order to take in some of the more popular attractions in and around the city of Da Nang.
This half day tour is perfect for visiting beautiful Marble Mountain, the Lady Buddha Statue, Dragon Bridge, as well as scenic view locations for that perfect picture!
After pickup from your hotel or cruise ship, your first stop will most likely be at a traditional Marble Handicraft Store.
Here, you can witness and purchase fine marble handicrafts made by local artisans.
Marble Mountain
It’s then on to Marble Mountain which consists of five mountains that are named after the elements fire, wood, metal, water and earth.
Also located on site is a lovely pagoda!
Enjoy superb city and ocean views and venture into stunning natural caves.Enter the caves and view the natural rock formations, stalactites, and pitch-dark tunnels.
All, complete with unique figures and altars that were created by Vietnamese artists.
Legend says that climbing the steps into salvation (Am Phu Cave) was to be exerting for a good reason, as this is where heaven begins.
On top of Thuy Son there are more caves to enter, as well as divine shrines and pagodas.
Once inside the heart of Am Phu, the smell of incense will be quite noticeable.
At the Temple Shrine, visitors may confess their sins and repent before a marble scale, which weighs your good and bad deeds.
Lady Buddha
Next on their tour was the beautiful Lady Buddha Statue, located at Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula in Da Nang.
The statue sits on a picturesque mountain facing out to sea. There are seventeen floors inside this statue, with each floor having an altar with 21 uniquely different Buddha statues.
Visitors can climb inside the Buddha and visit each floor!
This enormous statue is 72 meters in height and can be seen as far away as 35 kilometers. Lady Buddha is said to be;
This impressive statue is definitely worth the visit and to experience in person.
Dragon Bridge
🐉Dragon Bridge opened to the delight of residents in 2013 and has become a major attraction in Da Nang.
🐉The Dragon is a significant symbol of power, nobility and good fortune for the Vietnamese people.
Every weekend spectators arrive in the evening hours to witness the Dragon come alive! With a roar, spitting plumes of fire from its mouth, followed by hissing clouds of water vapor, it’s quite the spectacle.
The bridge is 666 meters in length with the Dragon and its tail taking up the entire length.
Your tour will also include brief stops along the waters edge and scenic viewpoints for excellent 📸 photo opportunities.
What a great way to see the city and some of its most popular sites in just a half day!
Andy also arranged for a 2 day 1 night Ha Long Bay Cruise for them out of Hanoi. They said the cruise was absolutely amazing!
As well, they also arranged for his private airport transfer service which is excellent.
Andy is a small business owner that goes above and beyond to make your time and tours in Vietnam special and memorable.
