If your travel plans include a journey up British Columbias Sea to Sky Highway, then you simply must make a stop at beautiful Brandywine Falls Provincial Park. Located just over an hours drive from Vancouver and about a 20 minute drive south of the world renowned Whistler BC, Brandywine Falls is a perfect stop for relaxing stroll or easy hike.

Its just minutes to the Waterfall from the parking area, walking alongside the beautiful picturesque Cheakamus River. For those wishing to spend more time in the outdoors and go for a walk or hike, you can access part of the Sea to Sky Trail System that would eventually take you 23 kms right into Whistler Village.

The trail is a wide well – groomed gravel hiking and biking trail running from both sides of Squamish and Whistler BC, and will eventually be extended further north all the way to Pemberton BC.

Spectacular Brandywine Falls

There are two viewpoint platform areas that offer amazing views of the Falls and beyond to Daisy Lake. A beautiful mountain fed lake and one that Brandywine Falls flows into.

We chose the easy 2.7 km trail which leads to Whistler Bungee Bridge. Famous for those dare devils wishing to experience a thrilling bungee jump off the bridge.

The walk is easy, relaxing and when you get to the bridge, the view is incredible as well as entertaining watching those taking the plunge. Scary!

Note:

This is a just over 5 kilometers round trip, so if you plan to walk when the weather is hot, take plenty of water and a snack along with you. It was a beautiful hot summer like day for us and were we glad we had gone prepared!

Brandywine Falls Provincial Park Is A Great Day Use Park

There is no camping allowed in the Park and is a Day Use Only Provincial Park like that of magnificent 🌄 Shannon Falls Provincial Park just south in the city of Squamish, Canadas Adventure Playground. Gates are locked in the evening so come early and enjoy a few minutes or a few hours exploring part of Beautiful British Columbia!

For a complete list of British Columbias many Provincial Parks including day use and overnight camping, I have listed the Provinces Official website line below for your convenience.

For those wishing to camp, I strongly recommend advance reservations, particularly during peak summer periods.
