A Review Of The Holiday Inn Express Hotel In Krabi Thailand
On our travels to Thailand a few seasons ago, we spent a week at the lovely 🏨 Holiday Inn Express Krabi Ao Nang Beach.
An outstanding upper class resort, ideally situated across from popular – 🏖 Ao Nang Beach in Krabi Thailand.
Weve always enjoyed staying with the 🏖 Holiday Inn Brand when traveling over the years, and this hotel lived up to its name and did not disappoint!
Reviewing Our Stay At The Holiday Inn Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach
Below, is a look at our one week stay and what you can expect when checking into this excellent full facility property.
A wonderful family oriented resort hotel, ideally situated in the heart of Krabis – tourist zone and beaches.
What we really liked is that the hotel is just down a short lane from the main road, making for very little traffic noise.
Deluxe King Room With A Garden & Pool View
Our 🛌 Deluxe King guest room was located on an upper floor, with a beautiful garden and pool view. We even had a slight view of the ocean, located just across the street from our balcony!
A perfect room and with all the modern conveniences you would expect in this class of hotel.
We were also warmly welcomed with a friendly note and bed decoration waiting for us, when we checked into our room.
Our guest room was immaculate and the 🛌 king bed was extremely comfortable. Such a pleasure to have a bed that isnt worn and sagging!
All beds come with a duck down duvet, crisp white linens and your choice of firm or soft pillows!
The guest room was equipped with a comfortable chair and desk, making it ideal for business travelers as well. Theres complimentary in room 📶 wi-fi and throughout the entire hotel as well, for your convenience.
The 📶 wi-fi internet connection was excellent during our entire one week stay, without any disruptions what so ever.
The guest room bath was sparkling clean and well equipped with the usual toiletries. It also had a nice easy walk in shower.
All of the hotels guest rooms have been designed in a modern – Sino-Portuguese look, that reflects the history and natural beauty of Southern Thailand.
Every room includes a nice balcony overlooking a garden or mangrove view.
The entire grounds of the resort were immaculate and beautifully kept by garden staff!

Complimentary Breakfast Buffet Included
All Holiday Inn guests receive a complimentary daily breakfast buffet, located just off the main lobby. We were very impressed with their wide variety of breakfast options to choose from.
The huge selection offered, is sure to please most everyone.
From eggs, pastries, fresh fruits and more, you definitely will not leave the buffet hungry!
Theres also the Grab & Go option for those in a hurry, and Room Service is also available from 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
Swimming Pool and Fitness Center
The outdoor pool is huge and sparkling clean!
Definitely a bonus and attraction for families and those who prefer a swimming pool over the ocean. Fresh pool towels are available daily, so no need to bring your own when spending time poolside.
I really like that the hotel is trying to implement and advise guests, not to reserve pool lounge chairs with their towels and other belongings. They have small cards tied to each lounge chair at poolside as a reminder, which is great!
This is definitely one of my travel pet peeves, seeing people do this and leave the lounge chairs empty for hours. Be sure to check out my post here on – 💺 Pool Chair Etiquette Tips.
My only suggestion would be to leave a secondary reminder card with the guest, upon check in.
Laundry Facilities
What I really like about Holiday Inn Express Hotels, is their self 🧺 laundry facility. A great option for long term stays, allowing you to pack even lighter!
Business Services
Theres 1 Meeting Room Available for business and travel representative meetings, if so desired. As well, the hotel has an; On-Site Business Center for your convenience.
My Recommendations
I would certainly recommend this hotel to both business and pleasure travelers staying in Krabi.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay during our week in this part of beautiful Thailand.
My recommendation to the hotel would be to add a dresser in the room for clothes. We were surprised not to see one in such a large room.
Also, a screen patio door onto the balcony would have been very helpful to keep the bugs and mosquitoes out in the evening hours.
We always enjoy {Not} using the air conditioning, especially in the early morning and evening hours.
