Where in the United States would you like to visit most? As Canadians and with the United States just on our doorstep, we have enjoyed many vacations over the years to some wonderful parts of the USA.
Below, are a few suggestions I’ve put together, offering some inspiration and ideas for you in planning your holidays in the United States. It’s a massive country with so much to see and do.

We always enjoy returning as often as we can to discover new destinations in the United States. From traveling in our motor home enjoying wonderful camping holidays, to reaching exciting destinations in the U.S. by air, there’s a State just waiting for you to discover!
From the east coast to the west coast, there are some truly amazing places to visit in the United States. From the beautiful tropical Hawaiian Islands to the rugged wilderness of Alaska, whatever you wish, you’re sure to find it in this great Country!

Planning A Visit To Hawaii
The Island of Maui Hawaii
We are so fortunate living on the west coast of Canada. Where we live, getting to the Islands of Hawaii couldn’t get any easier. Flights are almost daily in the winter months and take just over 5 hours to reach, on a non stop flight.
I was fortunate enough to travel with my parents to Oahu, Hawaii as a boy. Taking my first airplane flight and traveling to an exotic tropical destination, is when I am sure I was forever bitten by the travel bug!

Believe it or not, the postcard photo above of the surfers, is actually an original postcard I still have to this day. It is in my collection of postcards I got on my first trip to Hawaii as a boy!
I always enjoy traveling to Hawaii and just a few seasons ago, my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful vacation to the Big Island of Hawaii. If you’re looking for a tropical vacation in the United States, the Islands of Hawaii are a perfect choice!

NASCAR Races in Las Vegas
Have you ever taken a vacation specifically to see a major sporting event? We’ve enjoyed these types of vacations for many years now.
One of our favorite things to do in the States, is setting off in our Recreational Vehicle to one of the many destinations that hold Premier NASCAR (Stock Car Auto Racing) Events.
From taking a vacation in Las Vegas and attending the race weekend at 🏁 Las Vegas Motor Speedway, to spending the weekend 🌵 Camping at Phoenix International Raceway for their event, it’s a great way to enjoy what the U.S. has to offer!
Theres nothing like watching a live NASCAR stock car race!
The thrill and excitement of 43 high powered stock cars traveling at speeds of over 200 mph is simply breathtaking!
We’ve always enjoyed camping, taking in the various sites and attractions along the way. It has always made for a great vacation as we make our way to a Premier NASCAR Race weekend event.
National Football League
Some of my family members travel annually to different cities across the Nation, specifically to attend professional major league football, baseball and hockey games.
Television simply cannot come anywhere close to that of actually attending a live event in person!
I actually attended my first NFL (National Football League) game with these family members for the first time a few years back in Kansas City.
Even as a non – football fan, I thoroughly enjoyed the game and the weekend holiday as well!>
