Phoenix Raceway Good Sam 500 – YouTube Video

Phoenix Speedway is situated in Avondale, Arizona. The race track is easily accessible located within 20 miles west of downtown Phoenix. It is situated in a beautiful setting, surrounded by the nearby Estralla Mountains.

What other race track in the country is surrounded by beautiful cactus and gentle rolling hills?

PIR is a perfect one-mile, low banked tri-oval race track. It’s not too big and not too small. Fans get to experience the sounds and thrills of stock car racing up close!

One of the great things about attending a race in Arizona is the likely hood of getting rained out are very slim as well in this hot and sunny State. You are almost guaranteed beautiful sunshine each visit!

Our family have been going to and camping at these race events here for many years, traveling all the way from 🍁 British Columbia Canada and will continue to do so for many more to come.

Phoenix averages 85% annual sunshine with as little as 8 inches rainfall annually.
