Our Stay At The bai Hotel In Mandaue City Philippines
On our recent travels to Cebu City, we had the wonderful pleasure of spending our last two nights at the beautiful luxury bai Hotel Cebu. This property is ideally located in Mandaue City, perfect for both pleasure and business travelers.
Situated just 8 kilometers from Mactan Cebu International Airport and 4 kilometers from the main Cebu ferry terminal, all types of travelers can make their way around the city quickly and easily.
The bai Hotel Cebu is also just 3.5 kilometers from the Grand Convention Centre of Cebu and 6 kilometers from the city center.
The hotel is also conveniently located across the street from the very modern Park Mall Shopping Center.

This luxury hotel features 668 beautifully appointed rooms with a wide variety of rooms to choose from. You have choice of; Deluxe, Premier, One Bedroom, Executive Rooms, Suites and more.
All rooms are equipped with all the modern amenities one would expect in a business class style hotel.
Theres a large modern equipped gym exclusive to hotel guests, infinity upper floor swimming pool, function rooms for your corporate meetings and special social gatherings, 8 premium restaurants on site and so much more!
A 4 star rated luxury hotel but with 5 star plus service, the Bai Hotel in Cebu has everything you need for your stay in City.
A Look At Our Stay At The bai Hotel In Cebu
After previously arranging for convenient airport pickup with the hotel prior to our arrival, we were met and greeted by a hotel representative just beyond the luggage pickup area.
We were quickly transported to the hotel in a very clean, private air conditioned vehicle!
What a nice surprise after coming off our early flight from Palawan!
Arriving at the hotel a short time later, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff and security at the hotel entrance.
Stepping into the beautiful lobby, we knew we were in for a wonderful stay for our last 2 nights of our 28 day Philippines vacation.
The lobby surroundings were very luxurious, check in was quick and we were escorted to our room a very short time after arriving.
bai Hotel Premier King Room With A View
Our room was their upper floor Premier King Room, offering a surrounding city view. An absolutely lovely room with all the modern conveniences and more one would expect in this style of hotel, including minibar, in room safe and much more.
We were also warmly welcomed with a friendly note, along with a few very special hotel momentoes dropped off by a hotel representative.
The room was immaculate and the king bed was plush and very comfortable. Our room was equipped with a comfortable chair and work desk, making it perfect for business travelers. Theres complimentary in room WiFi and throughout the entire hotel as well for your convenience.
The bathroom was bright and very well equipped with toiletries, including a large walk in shower.
Swimming Pool and Fitness Center
Added hotel features include an large outdoor infinity upper floor swimming pool, complete with poolside bar for ordering your favorite beverage and a meal or snacks.
The pool deck offered a variety of comfortable loungers, making it perfect for spending time relaxing and just lounging outside by the pool and enjoying the view.
For fitness enthusiasts, theres a fully equipped staffed modern gym for getting your workouts in during your stay at the hotel.
This had to be one of the largest and most well equipped hotel fitness centers we’ve ever seen in our years of travel. The fitness center was even manned by a very fit staff member, there to assist guests at any time!
The bai Hotel Dining Experience
No need to leave the hotel during your stay in the city for dining. This property offers 8 distinctly different venues for dining. Yes, you heard that right!
You have a choice of eight premium restaurants in the hotel to choose from including;
✔ Lobby Lounge, ✔ Wallstreet Coffee Bar, ✔ UME Japanese Cuisine, ✔ Marble + Grain Steakhouse, ✔ Cafe bai, ✔ Pool Bar, ✔ Executive Lounge, ✔ Twilight Roof Deck Lounge + Bar.
The Cafe bai located on the second floor, is an all day buffet style restaurant. They serve an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet all day long for your convenience.
Our room included the breakfast buffet which was absolutely outstanding!
Theres a huge selection of dishes to choose from that cater to a variety of nationalities visiting the hotel from around the world.
Theres sure to be something served in the buffet that is just right for you.
In all our years of travel including to Las Vegas which is known for their hotels amazing buffets, my wife and I were amazed by the wide selection of freshly prepared items to choose from.
You simply must include a buffet meal at the bai Cafe during your stay at the hotel!
bai Hotel Introduces No Leftover Policy
What we discovered on each table was a small notice introducing the hotels No Leftover Policy. This was a first for us in all our years of travel and was absolutely wonderful to see!
The hotel is encouraging guests to enjoy their buffet but reminding them at the same time, to only take what they feel they can eat. Its a friendly reminder to help minimize needless waste and also help to create a greener environment for everyone.
The notice does say the hotel would charge a minimum fee for leftover food. This may be a little difficult to enforce but at the same time, the hotel is only trying to remind their guests to think about this message.
A little food for thought before heading to the buffet and filling their plates as high as a mountain top!
Take What You Can Eat and Eat What You Take!
I thought this was excellent and a great inspiration to other hotels serving similar buffet style dining. Particularly the waste weve seen at the major hotel resorts in Las Vegas, Nevada at their popular buffet restaurants.
Premier Executive Club Lounge
On the morning before heading to the airport to catch a flight back to Canada, we were treated by staff to breakfast in the Executive Club Lounge on the 22nd floor.
A beautifully furnished lounge serving a nice buffet style breakfast, afternoon tea and complimentary liquors throughout the day. Staff are there to serve and assist in any way they can.
As well and a very convenient option for executive travelers, staff in the lounge can take care of checking out of your room, concierge assistance and more, without having to go to the front desk in the hotel lobby.
What a wonderful treat to be pampered in such a way during our final hours at this beautiful hotel and our time in the Philippines.
We cant wait to return one day soon!
Cebu Park Mall Shopping Center
What we also really enjoyed about staying at this hotel was that it was located directly across the street from the Park Mall Shopping Center. Theres shopping galore at this modern mall, including a variety of restaurants and a large supermarket located on site.
It was great to have the mall just steps away to browse around during our stay at the hotel.
So in wrapping my review of the bai Hotel in Cebu City, theres no need to look elsewhere if youre looking for a luxury hotel during your stay in the city.
Staff are extremely friendly and eager to assist in any way they can during your stay.
Rooms were immaculate and well appointed with all the modern conveniences you may need. I would certainly recommend this hotel to both business and pleasure travelers staying in Cebu City.
